Paw Mate
The Problem:
Life gets really busy and we want to make sure that our furry friends are okay and in hands that we can trust. It is not enough to be able to just view our pets from a camera. Pets need to be played with, given treats, and sometimes they just miss hearing the sound of our voice.
This app accompanies the ball launcher that I designed. This is what makes it possible to view your pet, take photos, feed them treats, and launch the ball for them all with your phone.

The Target Users
This product is intended for all pet owners. Owners juggle their pets as well as work, school, kids,etc.
The Solution
Something to give pet parents more peace of mind is being able to keep an eye on their dog, give them treats, play with them, and talk to them remotely. The more they can do, the more beneficial it is for the pet, and the more reassuring for the pet parent.

Upon opening the Paw Mate app, the users find their way to the main menu where all actions are clearly presented.
Camera Preferences
The photo taking feature allows users to choose how often photos should be taken. The built in camera or the user’s phone camera can be used. When using their own camera users may place their phone on the mount and can then walk away to do a different task. For instance, you are cooking dinner in the kitchen and your dog is in the living room. Paw Mate will capture moments that you might have missed.
Photo Gallery
The photos taken are stored in a photo gallery so that you may view and save it to your device.
Live Footage
Keep an eye on your pet at all times. Paw Mate has a 24/7 surveillance that you can take at look at whenever you want. Throw a treat at your pet, take photos, and launch a ball to play with them!
Choose the distance and angle that you want to launch the ball.
