Going beyond the Typical 2D Calendars

Typical advent calendars are 2D and you simply lift a flap to get the treat. However, my redesign adds more interaction to provide a more memorable user experience.
Not only is this 3D, but with each ornament another LED is activated slowly lighting up the whole Christmas tree. More interaction gives a product more meaning and increases engagement.

Constructed in Solidworks and 3D printed with PETG and PLA Filament. Magnets were used to attach the ornaments to the tree base.
